Sergio Antonio Munoz-Cardenas
Phone 248-637-2851 He started his coaching career in Brazil with the Santo Andre Tenis Futebol Club. In 1990 he moved to the U.S.A. and turned his attention to coaching Youth Soccer. Sergio joined "The Kicks for Kids" and "United F.C." soccer organizations because he enjoys being around an International group of coaches, who are very knowledgeable on the sport of soccer. Sergio has U.S.S.F "D" Coaching License and is USSF Licensed Referee. Kim Hartman Phone Kim played High School soccer at Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township. She was awarded “All League / All Academic” and she served as Captain of her Varsity Soccer Team her senior year. In addition, she was also elected for “Second Team All State”. She played 4 years at Kalamazoo College while obtaining her BA degree in Health Sciences. Once again, she was elected as Captain of her soccer team her senior year. During her time at Kalamazoo, Kim was awarded: “All Academic / All American” and “All Regions / Second Team”. She also broke the League Records of “Most Assists In A Game”, “Most Assists In A Season”, and “Most Assists In A Career”. In 2003 she assisted the Girls Portage Northern HS Team before joining BUFC. Kim joined us in the Spring of 2004 and is attending Medical School at Wayne State University. She loves kids and she loves soccer; a great combination for BUFC! Kim has U.S.S.F "E" Coaching License Robert Zientara Phone Robert came to the USA in June of 2004. He brings with him a wealth of coaching and soccer experience. He played goalie for First Division Professional Soccer on the Krakow Team of Poland for 7 years. While playing Professional Soccer, he also attended the University where he studied in a field similar to Sports Science. Robert played as a professional goalie until he suffered a back injury which took him out of professional soccer and into coaching youth soccer. For eight years he was responsible for coaching two of the major youth Soccer Clubs in Krakow. He joined Birmingham United FC in the Summer of 2004. Joe McCarty Phone 517-304-6029 joemccarty22@hotmail.comJoe grew up playing soccer in Brighton. He played for the Brighton '77 Express. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1995 where he was a 3 year varsity starter as goalie. While at Brighton High his teams compiled a record of 76-10-3. The team won 3 straight conference and district titles, a regional title, and 1 state semi-final appearance and was the #1 ranked team in the state for 3 straight years. His honors included All-Conference, All-District, All-Area, All-Region, and All-State teams. Joe went on to play at Schoolcraft College for 2 years. The Ocelots finished the 1995 campaign at 15-3-2 and a #5 National ranking. Joe started coaching in 2000 in Clarkston where he was an assistant coach for the Clarkston High School Girls Varsity team for 2 years and also coached the U-18 girls Clarkston Shadows. He then received the honor of coaching his alma mater Brighton High School. He was the JV coach and also assistant varsity coach. He helped lead the girls team to 2 straight state final appearances and the boys team to an undefeated regular season and a #1 ranking in 2003. In 2005 he came to Birmingham and coached the boys teams at Groves and the girls teams at Marian. Joe currently works at Groves high school in the attendance office and also was named the Girls Varsity coach at Groves in the spring of 2008. He joined B-UFC in the fall of 2005. He has coached the boys teams of U-9, U-11, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-18, and the girls teams of U-12, U-13, U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19. Joe has a U.S.S.F "D" coaching license and also is a USSF and MHSAA certified referee.
Zach

Zach grew up in Lake Orion and has been playing soccer for about 24 years. He began playing club/travel soccer when he was about 12 years old. Zach played for LOBOS '78 and Rochester FC (aka RSSC) from 12-19 years old in the top division of the MSYSA Premier League. Through these teams and playing for the Midwest Soccer Camp team, he was able to travel frequently to Europe. At 13 years of age he went to England and Scotland with LOBOS. A few years later, he played in Holland with Midwest Soccer. Germany and Austria were his next destinations as he played with RSSC. All these trips were a tremendous experience for Zach, filled with two weeks of soccer and taking his skills to a higher level. Zach continued to play at the High School level for Lake Orion High School. Upon graduation, he played for Allegheny College, a NCAA Division III college, in Meadville, PA.. He coached for the Clarkston Select Soccer Club (CSSC) for three years and BUFC welcomed him in the Fall of 2007. Zach has a U.S.S.F. “D” Coaching License
