MANAGER UPDATE - 07/21/2010

 SUMMARY:

  1. Collect wknd conflicts from your t eams – Send t o your coach

 

  2. Send confirmed Ros t er (or t he best you have) t o Rebecca this Friday 7/23 (send any changes after that date as they come in)

 

 3. Respond t o Pam Surhigh on your Manager contact info

    

 4. Fall Mgr Mt  – Let Rebecca know if you are unable to attend mtg scheduled on 8/24, 8/25, or 8/26.

 

1.  COLLECT WKND CONFLICTS – 8/28-11/4

Please send an email and ask for any known band camps; school t rips, boy scou t s; powder puff games; etc. bet ween AUGUST 28 - NOVEMBER 4   that would prevent players from att ending any weekend games.  Compile any responses and send t o your respective coach. Andy’s teams should compile and send to me or Pam Surhigh.

 ð      MSPSP TEAMS (U13 GIRLS/U14 GIRLS /U16 GIRLS / U14 BOYS) – Hopefully you have done t his already due t o an earlier notification.

ð  MYSL TEAMS Coaches could begin scheduling games as soon as 7/26, please email your t eams and le t your coaches know of any conflicts.  

2.  EXCEL TEAM ROSTER CONFIRMED/UPDATED  – DUE TO REBECCA 7/23. 

     If your ros t er is a t leas t 90-95% confirmed by Friday; please send Rebecca wha t you have and t hen send any upda t es t ha t come along.

 FALL SEASON - We are looking a t scheduling our Fall Manager’s Meeting for the las t par t of August   in hopes everyone is back from vacation.. Augus t 24/25/26 around 7:30 pm - anyone CAN NOT attend any of t hese dates?

       Uniforms - I will be sending you an email with an Excel attachment by tomorrow that shows who has ordered uniforms and who has not.  Please send emails to those on your respective teams who have not yet ordered so they can ensure they have uniforms by our fall tournaments. 

       Club Camp – I just received word tonight that our club camp will be broken into (2) -shifts as they did not get the extra coaching staff that they had hoped.  Although I will be sending out a club email late tonight to reflect this;  it is not a bad idea to send something out to your teams in the event they have looked on our website (times/locations were posted as of 9 pm last night)  I have a call in to Doug to change the website to reflect below:  

o       U9 thru U11              : 12:00 pm-1:30 pm**  

  ** this includes any U8s that opted to pay the additional fee to participate

 o       U12  and above     : 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

        Practice Time/ Locations – I have been told we will have our field permits by this FRIDAY.  Therefore, expect to see our practice schedule posted in its entirety on the website by this coming Monday.

        U11 Teams & Above:  Do you know of any ODP players on your teams?  If so, can you send me their names?  I will be posting a “segment” on that in our August Newsletter and would like to give KUDOs to any of our players! J
